Family Firearm Safety & Education Event

2-hour event. Our certified instructors will coach a parent and child on various firearms including: 9mm handguns, 5.56 caliber rifles, .22 rimfire handguns and rifles, and 12-gauge shotguns. Children must be at least 7 years old to attend (juveniles need an adult parent or guardian). This event is outdoors under a large pavilion, but we do have a CLEAN porta john on site, and heating elements. All firearms and ammunition are provided. (10 parent/child groups allowed per event)

This is a class to get more comfortable with firearms and teach firearm safety to youth. Parents and children do not NEED to shoot if they are not comfortable, but they can receive valuable training and hands-on knowledge of what a firearm is!

Make sure any firearm is UNLOADED prior to you getting to the range. If you have your own ear and eye protection, that is HIGHLY encouraged as well. D…
