Open to church safety teams, ministry leaders, volunteers, and houses of worship from across the country, this summit delivers an exceptional level of instruction, hands-on learning, and professional certifications at absolutely no cost to attendees.

This nationally recognized program would typically cost $10,000 or more to host! Through the generous sponsorship from The Fries Foundation 501c(3) non-profit, however, this event is offered entirely free of charge, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to protecting congregations and strengthening church preparedness.

Rather than promoting fear, the summit equips participants with practical, proven strategies that help build a culture of confidence, readiness, and service. Attendees will learn current nationwide trends affecting houses of worship, examine lessons learned from real-world incidents, identify opportunities to improve their own church's preparedness, and develop effective methods for organizing and strengthening volunteer safety teams—all while preserving the welcoming and peaceful environment that churches are called to provide.

This is an immersive, hands-on training event designed with active participation. Throughout the day, attendees will rotate through breakout sessions featuring live demonstrations and practical exercises using innovative and affordable safety solutions, including Mantis laser training systems, SABRE Pepper Gel, classroom door security devices, Kore Essentials belts, and other tools that churches can realistically implement. Participants will engage in realistic scenario-based exercises that emphasize nationally accepted principles of threat recognition, de-escalation, communication, decision-making, and lawful intervention.

Fries Consulting also partners with Right to Bear, providing attendees the opportunity to learn about premium self-defense legal protection memberships available at a significantly lower cost than many competing programs. Additionally, an Advanced CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) specialist will be on-site to provide guidance on physical security improvements, crime prevention strategies, and grant-supported projects that can help churches create safer, more resilient places of worship.
