Basic Firearm Safety/Fundamentals

A 3-hour exclusive live-fire firearm safety/fundamentals training. We focus on enhancing shooting skills, safe weapon fundamentals, improving firearm proficiency, team building, and legal use of force considerations. Safety skills and knowledge are covered to enhance the safety of those who watch over congregations and/or businesses. There is no substitute for live-fire drills and time on the range in a group setting with personalized instructors. We also use Mantis Laser Training TitanX pistols in this course. Students will receive an NRA Basic Pistol Book, NRA pre-test, and NRA credit for this course. *Church/businesses will be invoiced for this course; students do NOT pay for this course if your team is paying for you!* Requirements Each shooter needs a semi-automatic handgun with at least 2 magazines Each shooter needs a sturdy belt and holster (no shoulder holsters, no small of back, no ankle, no Serpa style, etc.) At least 200-300 rounds of ammunition per shooter Eye and ear protection All-weather gear for outdoor shooting Hydration No shorts or open-toed shoes/sandals/loose-fitted clothing
