Pepper Gel Certification

Service Description

This 1.5-hour course certifies students to carry handheld pepper gel as a less-lethal tool to de-escalate a situation. Pepper spray (gel) is an excellent tool used far more often than a firearm. After this course, all students will be issued a canister of SABRE Crossfire pepper gel. Team leaders will also receive a decontamination kit. *Inert practice canisters will be used in scenarios; no exposure required for certification* Requirements Area wide enough to use on live role-players for targeting purposes or training dummy target Certification requires at least two successful inert practice sprays on a role-player or training dummy target Classroom with access to a projector or video components
